These symbols endure a mysterious meaning that could be more than star thing. In this poem the symbols represent what the statue and its surroundings used to be. In Percey Shellys, Ozymandias there are three important symbols, the statue, expression, and the smoothen. The statue in the delinquent land is a symbol of the pharaohs power accomplishments which are now destroyed. The poem describes it as half sunk, equivalent is where a shatter visage lies which conveys that this statue is completely in ruins. At one time, this statue was rest and was built be example of Ozymandiass status and power over the people.
