The Nuremberg Trials were a series of military tribunals, most known for the prosecution of prominent members of the economic, military and political leadership of Nazi Germany after being defeated in World struggle II. The trials were held at the castling of Justice in Nuremberg, Germany. The trials lasted from 1945-1946. In 1943, at the three-way dinner meeting the Soviet leader, Joseph Stalin reded killing about 50,000- 100,000 German officers. On February 4th 1945 President Roosevelt said to Stalin that he had been truly much struck by the extent of German end in the Crimea, and therefore he was more bloodthirsty in regard to the Germans than he had been a year ago. He was hoping that Stalin would make the idea of killing 50,000 German officers again. The U.S. Secretary of Treasury, Henry Morgenthau junior suggested the idea of total denazification of Germany. It was also called the Morgenthau plan. The plan suggested the force de-industrialization of Germany. Roo sevelt at first assisted this plan and managed to convince the heyday minister of large Britain, Winston Churchill in a less impellent way.
